WOW! What a place--yeah, capitalism hits the big red. But, hey, a good Starbucks would hit the spot!
Love your blog, and cool (but crazy) photos of your night in the guard tower. And the wall is not what i expected it to look like. anyway, glad you made it to see it. Super site and love sharing your trip.

Keep in mind the part of the Wall we visited on this trip is not a section that has been restored. Most pics you see of the Wall are taken closer to Beijing, where the Wall has been restored to what it would've been like when first built. I still hope to get to one of these spots.
